Ben Heveroh is a Bay Area keyboardist with an extensive background in classical, jazz, salsa, blues, and gospel music. The principal keyboardist for the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir since 1998, Ben has also been with numerous other bands over the years: he was a member of the Pete Escovedo Orchestra, played with guitarist Johnny DeFrancesco, was the musical director for the Josh Jones Latin Jazz Ensemble from 1992 to 1999, formed and directed the East Bay Church of Religious Science Gospel Choir from 1992 to 1997, formed and directed the gospel groups Higher Ground and Spirit from 1998 to 2001, and was the musical director for the Joy Choir at First Church of Religious Science from 2002 to 2004.
